IN THE PRESENCE OF DIXON is on show from 5th – 12th June between 10am and 4pm each day, with a late night opening until 7pm on Tuesday 11th June at the University of Cumbria’s Caldewgate campus.
After a brief visit on the closing of the Bolton University Creative degree show last week I thought I would share with you a few snaps of some of the best work I found on my travels around campus.
David Hazelgrove is a graduate of the Cardiff School of Art and Design in Illustration, now working as a freelance artist taking his inspiration from people and their interaction within the environment around them.
James Roper works with various media including painting, drawing, graphic design, sculpture and film. James graduated in 2005 with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from Manchester Metropolitan University and now lives and works in Manchester, England.
Currently at Central Saint Martins, Alice has a background in classical music, which certainly shows in the creativity of her projects. In January, she will attend Paris’ prestigious École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts before returning to complete her degree in London.
