Natalie Hughes is a young freelance illustrator (represented by Advocate Art Agency) based in Bristol here in the UK, by day she works for a succesful children’s magazine publisher. She also works on freelance commisions (greetings cards, children’s books) and is part of local design collective Draw In Bristol.

Having graduated with First Class Honours, Nicola almost immediately began working with Meadowside publishers after her work was spotted at her degree show. Our next showcase with Milan Topalovic exhibits some awe-inspiring picture-book illustrations. Creating “romanticised” depictions and visual narratives with a “dreamlike nature,” Milan concentrates on all the little details in his scenes and characters to produce his impressive work.
