Bartholot is a freelance designer based in Berlin with an emphasis on photographic illustration and art direction. He

was born in 1971 in Southern Germany and became a graphic designer in Aachen. He gained experience working in

Lucerne and Zurich, before he moved to Madrid to join photography legend Álvaro Villarrubia's team. He’s been

exploring his particular imagery ever since. Beside his interest in dollish characters he certainly has a weakness for

dusty shine, trendless fashion & striking gloom.

An Interesting Conceptual Photo Journal of 2 Sisters

Stumbling around on the internet the today I came across a photography blog that made me instantly smile, In

November 2006, The photographer Jason Lee started a personal blog that chronicled the lives of his two daughters,

Kristin and Kayla. The reason for the blog was simple, to capture their daily lives for my mother, who was diagnosed with

non hodgkin's lymphoma and wasn't able to see them on a regular basis. See below the adorable kids.

After receiving a Degree, in Film Scriptwriting from Tel Aviv University, Ronen began pursuing photography as an outlet for

creative storytelling. Soon enough the "Surrealistic Pillow" project was born. The Images of the series- Combine

every day elements to create a surreal, ethereal "dream story" within a single frame. Laced with a range of

"dream-vibes"- between utter happiness and optimism of the "Lemon Farmer to sheer paranoia in

"Under Pressure" With each image taking months of planning and execution since all parts of each image are

shot on Location to achieve the highest level of realism. The project has been in creation for the past four years, and is still in

the making.
